Where & how do I get my gear?
You can pick up your items at Laufrimi 3, Reykjavík. Please note this is a pickup point only, and reservations must be confirmed in advance before arrival.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 48 hours before your arrival to guarantee availability. During peak season (May-September), book 1-2 weeks ahead for best selection.
Can I extend my rental period?
Yes! Contact us at least 24 hours before your return date. Extensions are subject to availability and standard daily rates.
What happens if I return gear late?
Late returns incur additional daily charges. If you're delayed due to weather or road conditions, contact us immediately - we're understanding Iceland's unpredictable conditions.
How is my payment processed?
Our store processes payments securely through Teya Services. When you proceed to checkout, you will be redirected to their trusted payment page to complete your purchase.
On the Teya Services payment page, you can choose from a variety of payment options, including all major debit and credit cards, as well as Apple Pay for a fast and convenient checkout experience.
Do you provide gear for children?
Absolutely! We have child carriers, smaller backpacks, and family-sized tents. Child carriers are available for ages 6 months to 4 years.
What's your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 50% charge.
Do you accept international payment methods?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards and international bank cards.
Can I get a refund if I don't use all my rental days?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for unused days. However, you can return the gear earlier.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a small refundable deposit may apply, depending on the gear rented. It’s held securely and refunded within 2–3 business days after we inspect the returned items.
